All are invited to come together and celebrate the spirit of unity, diversity, and the rich heritage of Garden Grove during this Memorial Day weekend extravaganza. This year, the festival proudly embraces the theme, “Celebrating Our Hometown,” a tribute to the rich tapestry of culture, community, and cherished memories that make Garden Grove so very special.

The Atwater Village Farmers Market features over two dozen of Southern California’s best local farms, showcasing their diverse range of organic herbs and lettuces. Additionally, there are various local food vendors offering a wide selection of specialty food items like salsa, hummus, tamales, and more. The market is a family-friendly event, with live entertainment provided by local musicians.

The Hollywood Bowl is the summer venue for the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Nearly 80 concerts are presented during summer each year, including orchestral, jazz, popular, and world music.

Creating in Community: Fowler at 60 celebrates the sixtieth anniversary of the Fowler Museum at UCLA. As we look back at the research, exhibitions, and public programs of the past sixty years, we recognize that the most joyful and interesting projects have been those created with others. Through these collaborations fresh ideas bloomed, unforeseen challenges and expectations arose, and new connections were forged. Come revisit these extraordinary projects with us, as we bring this spirit of engagement into the future by working with partners to use our building and collections in ever more experimental ways.
