Pack your picnic basket, shake out your blanket and grab your friends & family by the hand. LA’s Shakespeare in the Park returns for an entire summer of FREE theater under the stars!

Fall in love with this summer’s  As You Like It, a screwball romantic comedy with songs inspired by 1930’s crooner, Al Bowlly.

Performance Schedule: 

Wednesdays through Sundays at 7:00 p.m. at Griffith Park’s Old Zoo

Immersive Prologue at 6:00 p.m.

The granddaddy of free Frogtown events returns on September 21 from 4-10pm. Sprawling over a mile alongside the LA River, and featuring over 30 venues presenting pop up art exhibits, arts and culture activities and performances, you can enjoy live music, great food, artist studio tours, kid’s crafts, DJs, hula hooping, pedicab rides, performances, dance, community booths, chalk walk, literary lounge with poetry and spoken word…and course, tons of art! The annual Hispanic Heritage Festival recognizes and celebrates Hispanic and Latino Americans’ rich heritage, culture, and contributions. The event will include live entertainment, a classic car show, interactive and Carnival-style games, health screenings, vendors, information booths, and a food court.

Our family-friendly festival brings together the entire Los Angeles community to celebrate jazz greats such as Gerald Wilson, Ernie Andrews, Billie Holiday, Charles Mingus, and Dexter Gordon while spotlighting the younger emerging artists continuing this rich art form.
