Taiko is a drumming practice originating from Japan that has become a global phenomenon over the last several decades. World-renowned taiko artist ManMan Mui teaches drumming patterns over 8-week sessions. Lessons include developing rhythm, body awareness, and technique as students make music together as a team. Team Taiko is open to all skill levels and abilities, from beginners to seasoned musicians.

Description

Chinese calligraphy has been a traditional art of writing for more than 5,000 years. It is especially significant and vital during numerous Chinese festivals and celebrations. This hour-long workshop is a superb opportunity for everyone to learn how to write a different language and to learn about Chinese culture in a fun and creative way. Participants will learn to write 24 Chinese characters and take home their prized work. All materials provided.
