Join Mayor Karen Bass; Los Angeles City Council President Paul Krekorian, Councilmember, District 2; the Los Angeles City Council; the 2024 Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Heritage Month Chair, Traci Park, Councilmember, District 11; and the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA) to officially commemorate and celebrate the opening of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Heritage Month in the City of Los Angeles.
This year’s LGBT Heritage Month theme is: Reach for Your Dreams. The celebration will kick off at City Hall on May 31, 2024, with the LGBT Heritage Month City Council Presentation at 10:00 a.m. in City Hall’s John Ferraro Council Chamber during the City Council meeting. The 2024 LGBT Heritage Month Chair, Traci Park, Councilmember, District 11, will honor a number of organizations that host Pride events across the city at this presentation.
