Description

The Fremont Arts & Wellness Festival connects families and communities to the benefits of soil, art, and urban gardening, promoting a sense of belonging, empowerment, and resilience.

This free, day-long, public celebration is centered around the unveiling of a mobile Seed and Zine Library — a mobile art installation that provides a platform to share plant-based knowledge, wellness resources, zine-making, and more with the community.

Activities will include gardening workshops, zine-making, seed sharing, and artmaking.

Recycled materials is the focus, in addition to promoting urban gardening, the art installation and accompanying workshops will invoke inspiration and uplift local, cultural strategies to address climate change and food insecurity.

Friday, May 24, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Fremont Wellness Center and Community Garden
