Today, the Market hosts 160 farmers, producers, and food artisans who specialize in every crop that’s grown seasonally around the state and a large variety of culinary perspectives and practices from around the globe. Everyone from local families who live in the neighborhood to some of Southern California’s most respected chefs use the Market as their weekly food source and walk-in pantry.

Fall in love with this summer’s  As You Like It, a screwball romantic comedy with songs inspired by 1930’s crooner, Al Bowlly.

Social Forest: Oaks of Tovaangar is inspired by Joseph Beuys’s influential work 7000 Oaks. In a multifaceted effort, The Broad will present his art, an offsite public reforestation project, and a series of programs connected with the legacy of Joseph Beuys’s art and environmental advocacy. Social Forest: Oaks of Tovaangar encompasses planting 100 native trees, primarily coast live oaks, in Elysian Park in Los Angeles and additional plantings at Kuruvungna Village Springs in West L.A. Produced by Food Access LA, the Crenshaw Farmers’ Market serves diverse neighborhoods, including Angeles Mesa, Hyde Park, Leimert Park, View Park/Windsor Hills, and Baldwin Hills.

Every Saturday, the Market features a dozen local farmers and over two dozen food and artisan vendors who bring a diverse selection of local produce, spices, sprouts, breads, nuts, baked goods, and fresh flowers each week. The market also hosts monthly events, including cooking demonstrations, tastings, and children’s activities.

You can use your CalFresh EBT card and WIC checks at the Crenshaw Farmers Market. Additionally, we offer Market Match, which doubles CalFresh by up to $10 per day. Stop by the information booth to receive extra dollars to spend at the market!

The Crenshaw Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 10 am-3 pm, rain or shine, and is located in the AFIBA Center (Fire Station 54) parking lot at 5730 Crenshaw Boulevard, off of Crenshaw and Slauson, adjacent to U.S. Bank.

 

Explore living collections of orchids and camellias, a botanical conservatory, a fragrant rose garden, a children’s garden, and more, in 16 themed gardens spread over 120 acres. All visitors, including members, must reserve tickets online in advance.
