Join the weekly Latin Jazz Sessions, led by Matthew Hernandez, for an introduction to various Latin music styles, including cha-cha, boleros, salsa, cumbia, and merengue. Open to all ages, these sessions provide sheet music and drumming pattern worksheets. No prior musical experience is necessary, and instruments are available for use.

Celebrate Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month by learning about the islands of the Philippines. Participants will hear a story about a young girl who dreams of going on a fishing boat with her grandfather, then create traditional outrigger vinta boats out of paper. The program concludes with an exciting boat race.

Taiko is a drumming practice originating from Japan that has become a global phenomenon over the last several decades. World-renowned taiko artist ManMan Mui teaches drumming patterns over 8-week sessions. Lessons include developing rhythm, body awareness, and technique as students make music together as a team. Team Taiko is open to all, from beginners to seasoned musicians.
