In partnership with local community organizations, Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California hosts free citizenship application workshops where our staff and volunteers help verify eligibility for citizenship, complete the citizenship application, and prepare a fee waiver request for individuals who qualify. The first Thursday of every month is an in-person clinic at the Alhambra Library. The second and third Thursday of every month is virtual. The fourth Thursday of every month is an in-person clinic at our LA office An appointment is required prior to attending our Citizenship Clinics. World-renowned taiko artist ManMan Mui teaches drumming patterns over 8-week sessions. Lessons include developing rhythm, body awareness, and technique as students make music together as a team.
