Experience a restored home and agricultural compound from 18th-century Japan that provides a glimpse into rural life 300 years ago. Built around 1700, this 3,000-square-foot residence was the center of village life in Marugame, Japan.

Liu Fang Yuan or the Garden of Flowing Fragrance, is one of the finest classical-style Chinese gardens outside of China. Explore living collections of orchids and camellias, a botanical conservatory, a fragrant rose garden, a children’s garden, and more, in 16 themed gardens spread over 120 acres. All visitors, including members, must reserve tickets online in advance.

The Atwater Village Farmers Market features over two dozen of Southern California’s best local farms, showcasing their diverse range of organic herbs and lettuces. Additionally, there are various local food vendors offering a wide selection of specialty food items like salsa, hummus, tamales, and more. The market is a family-friendly event, with live entertainment provided by local musicians.
