Days of Rage is a web exhibition that enlivens historical activist posters through analysis and storytelling. Grounded in the experiences of activists and graphic designers, the exhibition positions LGBTQ+ graphic design as embodied in community realities and histories, producing subjective reflections on the interdependence of design and activism.  

The adventure begins when Peter Pan and his mischievous sidekick, Tinker Bell, visit the bedroom of the Darling children late one night. With a sprinkle of fairy dust and a few happy thoughts, the children are taken on a magical journey they will never forget. This extraordinary musical, full of excitement and adventure, features iconic and timeless songs.

When a “friends with benefits” relationship unexpectedly results in the early arrival of a baby girl, Daniel must choose between being a biological parent or becoming a father. The new dad learns to navigate the protocols and frustrations of NICU life on his uncertain path to parenthood in this funny and heartfelt new play where growth is measured in more than grams.

Unbroken Blossoms is a historical reimagining of the making of a boundary-breaking Hollywood classic that shines a light on the collateral damage in the search for “authentic” representation, and asks what price we pay for our art.

An idealistic family man and a cynical aspiring filmmaker are hired as the Chinese American consultants for Broken Blossoms, Hollywood’s first onscreen interracial love story between a white actress and a white actor in yellowface makeup. If the circumstances were not already questionable enough, the consultants must contend with the outsized ego of the film’s director, D.W. Griffith, who is attempting to belie criticisms of racism after releasing his controversial film The Birth of a Nation.

Ballet Hispanico’s Doña Perón is a portrait of one of the most recognizable and controversial women in Argentinian history: Eva “Evita” Peron. The ballet brings to light the extremes of power at the forefront of Evita’s life. She worked as an activist and advocate for Argentina’s women and working class but raised skepticism as she indulged in the opulence of a high-class life. Friday, 7:30 p.m., Saturday, 7:30 p.m. Sunday, 2:00 p.m.

Theatricum is a vital creative force recognized internationally for interpreting Shakespeare’s work. This summer season, plays are The Winter’s Tale, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Wendy’s Peter Pan, Tartuffe: Born Again, and The Hispanic/Latino/Latina/Latinx/Latine Vote.
