Every year the Autry hosts Sizzling Summer Nights, a series of outdoor performances of top and emerging salsa and Latin fusion music scene. Dance the night away with LA’s best salsa and Latin fusion bands at the Autry’s popular summer series. The outdoor events include free salsa lessons with an instructor, access to the museum galleries, and a separate children’s dance floor.

$5 member – $25 non member, RSVP required

Fall in love with this summer’s  As You Like It, a screwball romantic comedy with songs inspired by 1930’s crooner, Al Bowlly.

LA Shorts International Film Festival ranks among the world’s most prestigious and largest short film festivals. The festival is accredited by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts. In its 29th year, LA Shorts is the longest-running short film festival in Los Angeles.  

You’re invited to join us for Film Independent‘s annual Artist Development Showcase, which includes a curated program of short films from Film Independent Fellows who have been supported by Artist Development programs including Project Involve.

The nine short films will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers, moderated by 2023 Project Involve Programming Fellow Imani Davis.
