Discover the world of Chinese medicinal plants during this open house at The Huntington’s Chinese Medicinal Garden. Experts will provide informal tours, sharing insights on plants used in traditional Chinese medicine for over 2,000 years. Drop-in talks will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.

We will be offering two morning music classes:

Description
Taiko is a drumming practice originating from Japan that has become a global phenomenon over the last several decades. World-renowned taiko artist ManMan Mui teaches drumming patterns over 8-week sessions. Lessons include developing rhythm, body awareness, and technique as students make music together as a team. Team Taiko is open to all, from beginners to seasoned musicians.
