All events take place in the Auti AngelEvents Arena unless otherwise noted.

Explore new materials while establishing your sketchbook practice at Center for the Arts Eagle Rock. Teaching Artist JJ Jorgensen will instruct foundational creative skills! This workshop features lessons in Watercolor, Gouache, Ink, and Pencil. All levels of experience welcome with materials included. Happening for three consecutive Sundays from March 3rd, 10th, and the 17th from 9:00am-11:00am. Each class is $65 or $150 for the entire session.

Get ready for Plant Day at the Central Library on March 2, 2024—a family-friendly event celebrating all things plants!  Plant enthusiasts of all ages are invited to experience the joy of connecting with nature in this free event starting at 10:00am.! Our day sprouts to life with energizing keynote speeches by Jeanette Marantos from the LA Times Plants Newsletter and the green gurus of the Dodger Landscaping crew.  Here is the ink to the Plant Day webpage. But wait, there’s more! Roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty in our interactive workshops led by seasoned plant pros. Whether you’re curious about urban gardening, sustainable agriculture, or herbal remedies, we’ve got something budding for everyone.

Join us for a printmaking workshop with Nguyen Ly of  LYNK Collective, in conjunction with Material Recovery: Printmaking with Recycled Materials, on view at Angels Gate Cultural Center January 20 – March 23, 2024.
